IWC will be revived Pilot’s copy watch collections for 2019 featuring new models, including a new Top Gun watch.
The Top Gun model marks the first use of Ceratanium for the case of an IWC Pilot’s fake watch. This material has been created by IWC. It’s a composite that offers the scratch resistance of ceramic with the lighter weight and high strength of titanium.
For the launch model, the Pilot’s Replica Watch Double Chronograph Top Gun Ceratanium, is 44mm with a full matte black finish and a matching stealth treatment to the dial, hands, and textile/rubber strap.
Surrounded by a soft-iron inner case for added anti-magnetism, the Pilot’s Swiss Copy Watch Double Chronograph Top Gun Ceratanium uses IWC’s 79230 movement.
This new piece follows on from the success of the previous two IWC Portugieser Replica models, so it was decided to create another limited-edition watch based on one of the most coveted models in the IWC Portugieser family.
The Swiss Copy Portugieser, with its sleek Arabic numerals and slim leaf-shaped hands, is characterized by its precision and iconic design. The numerals, minutes scale and strap make use of the blue color scheme.
The watch takes its summertime flair not only from its blue elements but also from the choice of textile for the material of the strap, created exclusively for the 40.9mm IWC Portugieser Chronograph BUCHERER BLUE.
It’s fair to say among many Swiss brands, right handed watches are few and far between, but now IWC has stepped up to the presumably right-footed plate in what is a first for the Schaffhausen based company. Considering how many Big Pilot’s editions already exist, it’s surprising that this IWC Big Pilot’s ‘Right Hander’ Replica Edition is the first pilot from the brand that is expressly designed for those who favor their watch wear to be on the right wrist.
The design elements will also be familiar, with the same easy and clear to read cockpit instrumentation style layout on the dial. What is new is the positioning of the famous oversized Big Pilot’s Copy IWC Watches onion crown, designed to be operable even with thick pilots’ gloves from days of old. On this right-hander edition, it’s located on the left-hand side of the case.
The 52000 movement features twin barrels and they supply a ‘Big Pilot’ power reserve of no less than a 7-day power reserve. The automatic Pellaton winding movement has plenty of power to drive demands of the complications including the annual calendar and perpetual calendar. The IWC Knockoff Watches strap is crafted in black calfskin leather.
The stainless-steel fake watch has a date display at 6 o’clock with two subdials. The hacking small seconds subdial is at 3 o’ clock while the 7-day power reserve indicator is at 9 o’clock.The slate gray colored dial also features luminescent indices and hands with guaranteed optimum legibility, whether at night or in poor conditions of poor visibility.
